I forgot about a pre-scheduled follow-up appointment, so I called the day before to cancel it. About 2 weeks later I got a bill in the mail for $75.00 - their cancellation fee because I did not give them 48 hours notice! I called to complain, and was told this was their standard fee, no exceptions. I refused to pay it, and I thought the matter was closed. Then I received another statement, adding a $5.00 late fee. I called again, telling them I was not going to pay $80.00 and called this fraud and extortion, accusing them of extorting money from a senior citizen living on Social Security. The person was then rather nasty and arrogant, telling me it would be sent to a collection agency. My reply was, I'll see you in court, I have a great lawyer who loves to take on unethical providers, then hung up. I hope this will serve as a warning to other senior citizens to avoid these unethical people.

The staff here is absolutely awful. The attitude the second I walked in the door was astonishing. (At my first appointment) My follow up appointment was today, however I tested positive for COVID over the weekend. Assuming they were like most dr offices I didn't bother to call because they weren't there. Furthermore I was in excruciating pain to the point where I couldn't get out of bed or eat. I was seriously debating the hospital. I totally forgot I had this appointment today as you know I have more pressing issues aka I have COVID!!! I called 45 mins before my appointments (bad timing I know) explained my situation just as I said above and all the lady wanted to do was give me attitude about how they have an answering machine. Like I said how was I supposed to know! Regardless they are charging me a cancellation fee. Tbh I should have just went and not cared if I gave the staff COVID since they don't seem to care either. I've been running a high fever and body aches so excuse me if the meds make me sleep in.
