it's a shame because Dave does good work. i had Dave do some renovations to my home alittle over two years back. There was a few odds and ends that weren't completed by the time i moved in and i was fine with that. After constantly calling, texting and being told he would call me back in a few weeks i stopped reaching out. Everytime i did talk to him he would tell me about personal issues he was having which i completely understand and was willing to work with him but over 2 years laters and not finishing the job and seeing posts of other jobs he's doing I've had enough. Also i wanted a print out of costs and what not since i was giving him money for the renovation job whenever he asked for money. Never did he have an issue getting payment from me and yet i couldn't get the job finished. All throughout the project i had communication issues, being told they would be here on days and not show and get no call. My parents also have had work done by him and he's been out a few times to fix flooring and said he had to get a piece to install and would touch base with them in a few weeks, it's now been 6 months,calls later and still nothing. Like i said i have no complaints about the work I'm just sick of other jobs that i see get finished on social media yet me nor my parents cant our jobs finished.

Absolute worst experience with a contractor to date. "Will come by Wednesday to look at remodeling project". - cancelled at last minute because running late. "Let's do Friday". - no show and not even a courtesy call on Friday. Texted on Saturday to find out status, ignored for 48 hours and then told he didn't see it. Morning of scheduled work. Was told day before of arrival between 8-9am. At 9:10am- "had a service call, should be done there in an hour". 3 hours later - "Have to reschedule until Friday". Cleary, upset, I questioned wether he would even arrive on Friday, given his prior track record. Immediately said "forget it, maybe you should use someone else". Most unprofessional, non-customer oriented contractor I've ever come across. Now I'm left with an unusable bathroom that I ripped apart and timed around his install. Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. Just awful
