I've seen McKenzie twice and always had a wonderful experience. I wanted to branch out and try an asymmetrical cut, knowing it could be risky. But McKenzie did a fantastic job at talking me through it and making sure I was happy with the cut every step of the way, from the initial length and getting my correct part, to the layers and final look. She's updated the cut based on my hair type and how it was lying, so it would come out just right for my naturally wavy hair. She's kind, attentive, pays great attention to detail, and is a pleasure to talk to. Looking forward to my next appointment!
I had been overlooking this place for years, I think I had it in my head that it was more of a traditional barber than salon. I don't have the budget to get my hair done super frequently, and don't have a regular stylist - I generally do walk-in and hope for the best. I made an appt here after a rec by a coworker and got an appt with Pearl, and have been to her twice now - I am SO HAPPY with the way it turned out, and the way she listened to what I was looking for/offered tips, etc. I recently wanted to do a fairly big change, trusted her to do it and am thrilled with the results. I'll go to her as long as she's there :)
I just want to say thank you to Pearl for her great service today with my 5 year old daughter ! We did a haircut service with face framers and it looks great just what I was looking for. overall I was happy with how personable, funny and energetic she was working with my little one.
