I just wanted to share my experience with Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home. I recently lost both my parents within 6 months of each other. Devastated doesn't even come close to the emotional state our family was feeling. From the moment we walked in the door, the owner and staff greeted us with kindness and compassion. Not knowing what we needed or where to start, they guided through the process from start to finish.

I recently lost my dad. I’m an only child and my dad was divorced for decades. He didn’t have much money, but it was important to him to preplan and prepay for his final arrangements. I think it was during COVID we met with Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes where he preselected items, and provided information like work history, family history, etc. (to help later with his obituary, if necessary). He was also a veteran, and Spicer helped us complete all the paperwork to get him approved for services and interment at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery. As you go through one of the most difficult times you will ever face, the death of a loved one, Spicer-Mullikin takes the stress out of the process of making the selections that are necessary and on the day of visitation they check with you during the day to make sure everything is the way you want it and that everything is going smoothly. The entire staff and especially Mitch show that they actually care about you, your family and the deceased, I know because we just lost my wife. I highly recommend them should the need arise.
