“This salon was recommended by a friend who also has natural hair. I recently removed braid extensions and wanted a short platinum style that I had in the past. I came with a picture. My stylist was Rosita. I was greeted warmly when I arrived. I was on time and I didn't have to wait before she began working on my hair. It was obvious that she hadn't done this level of bleaching before as she had many questions answered by Karen who seemed to be the owner. This didn't affect the outcome as my hair came out perfectly! Exactly as I wanted. The level of blonde and the style of my hair. This shop seems to be a friendly mainstay in this community as people stopped by to say hello and everyone seems to know each other. Parking around the corner was free and available. I definitely recommend this salon and would go back again. I deducted one star because it was more expensive than what I am used to paying in Maryland for this service.“

“This is my favorite place to get a hair cut and get my hair dyed along with highlights. I love it that even though I get hair dye and highlights my hair still ends up silky smooth and touchable! I take my 3 daughter's there too because after getting their hair cuts their hair grows back so fast. The only downside to this salon is that there is only one hair dresser so calling ahead is recommended because an appointment does typically have to get scheduled and usually her appointments run into next week. But if you don't mind it like me that I love my results every time therefore I don't mind waiting. I took my girls to get tips of hair dyed to another salon and I was sorry for making that move. Their hair ended up dry and brittle and got tangled up on area of dye and it was pricey. That does not happen when I go here to Bonita Salon and it's sooo much more affordable!“

Not only is she an amazing stylist who goes above and beyond on my (and others') behalf, she tackles any challenges thrown her way, and makes it fun!I had entirely sworn off salons prior to her, and despite my hesitation, I took a recommendation from a friend of mine to see her. All my hesitation and doubts were proven wrong in an instant, and I won't go to anyone else BUT her going further.If you're looking for a stylist who treats you like a client AND a friend, go to her.
