Terrible customer service. Walking in the shop is dirty; there are bookbags on the floor and full trashcans with the employees just hanging out. I was desperate to get a haircut so I thought I would take a chance. I asked for a low-skin fade with an inch left on the top, my standard cut so I know what it looks and feels like. My barber 'SP' seemed to be moving in slow motion and couldn't locate the attachment to begin my line for a few minutes. Immediately it didn't feel like haircuts I've gotten before as SP was too focused on the skin-line near my ears, and I felt him go higher, switch sides, and start again to reform it. My hair was full length on top and 0 going across the back. Eventually he switched to a 3 to begin blending the length but it took over ten minutes and he wasn't pressing the shears to my head he was trimming off tiny hairs like a gardener. After ten literal minutes of shaping he got a pair of scissors to work on the top and front, but the scissors didn't cut, so SP went off to find a second pair. The second set started to before getting stuck and just crimping my hair. He didn't have the right tools for the job. He then asked me if I wanted the top to 'fold over' and I could tell he was struggling, so I asked him to buzz the top because I had been sitting for over 20 minutes and he had barely gotten started. SP roughly ran the shears over my scalp, missing a few spots, before going back to the line near my ears. Pressing into the same spot again and again it felt like he was shaping clay and I was watching my hair being cut farther and farther from what I asked. At the 40 minute mark I had to stop him and say that we were finished, which is when he asked for $35 for the terrible job he had done. I don't know why I paid him but it took him a full minute to make change, handing me dirty, crumpled ones. After leaving the shop and passing two windows I turned around to ask for my money back because it looked like he had drawn a Q-tip on the top of my head. He stood by his work and kept repeating 'Sir you didn't let me finish' when he had taken off way too much. I look ridiculous now and I hope SP gets audited. Please do not go here.
