We left our babies, Foxxi and Bambi for a week here while we were on a cruise; they looked great when we got back and we appreciate all you have done for us Linda. Thank you!
Since this situation has escalated to a point it never needed to go and trying to correct the misinformation and false accusations being made regarding Roxi going missing is not possible because comments will just get deleted, I'll do it here. For the record - I'm NOT the owner of the kennel and I don't live in Delaware, so telling me to get off social media and look for the dog is futile. *Yes, Roxi got loose while being boarded with my mother. At no point has she ever denied this fact and of course is devastated that this accident happened. The owner was notified of what happened and my mother and neighbors have been out looking for Roxi since. The notion that was Roxi was sold is absolutely absurd and 100% false. *The comments made by me were not rude by any means. I have been nothing but sympathetic towards what the owners are going through and have said that they are completely justified in feeling hurt and angry that Roxi is missing. Yes, I did vouch for my mother in an attempt to correct grossly false accusations being made, but never stooped to the level of some of the commenters on the owner's page. Comments being made are actually promoting physical violence and I can't image how anyone can consider this acceptable behavior, especially from people claiming to be adults. I understand that emotions are high, but it's never right to inflict hurt on an individual just because you're hurting. In my opinion, this an example of cyber bullying at its finest and is setting a terrible example for any of these people that have children. *The topic of suing was brought up because practically every other comment being made is telling the owner to sue and the comment from the owner was "I hope it doesn't come to that." In addition, the owners came to my mother's property with a state police officer because, according to her comment, she wanted to retrieve Roxi's things and make sure she wasn't on the premises, but wanted an officer there because of a phone call between her husband and my mother. Nobody heard this phone conversation other than the owners and my mother, so no one can comment on what was said. Having said that, I don't think it's fair to assume that only one party was frustrated with the situation. When my mother saw the officer at the gate, she had to ask him several times to come up to her house because she was watching her grandson. The owners were not with the officer when he walked to the back of the property to my mother's house (and left the gate wide open by the way). It was at that point that he asked for her ID and told her it was a criminal investigation. So because the owners weren't with the officer at this time, they didn't hear this statement and are claiming it was never said. She asked the officer if he wanted to see the signed contract and the section that relieves her of liability and the officer said yes. She walked down to the kennel to get the contract and that's when she saw that instead of parking in the driveway, the owners pulled into her yard and parked on the wet lawn, which of course means the car sunk into the ground and left ruts. So yes, she was frustrated with the officer because he wouldn't ask them to move their car out of her yard. The officer was shown the contract and they left. He never searched the property for Roxi and the owners never asked to retrieve her items. *The post made by the owner that contains screenshots of comments made by Marian Baillargeon and her husband were NOT made by my mother. Because of how the post is laid out and the verbiage in the beginning, people are automatically assuming this is my mother due to not reading to the end of the post where she says that these are comments made by a neighbor. There are always two sides to a story, so I don't know why someone would think it's okay for the owners' friends (and total strangers that don't know either party) to come to their defense, but it's wrong for those of us that kno
