I've been going every so often to this location of Whitman-Walker Health since it first opened. I've always gotten good service here, but today I ended up late to an appointment because of the security guard on the first floor.
I was still seen by JJ and his manager, Monique. They listened to my frustrations and worked to reschedule my appointment for right after lunch. My mood completely turned around.
My phlebotomist this afternoon was also wonderful and was very good-natured.

The new building is great, big, bright, and airy with easy access by metro or car. Much closer to the metro and more parking than the 14th street location. Deducting one star because I've had many issues with scheduling and IT, but the doctors and staff you actually interact with are wonderful.
It is really difficult to make appointments, see your doctor, send a message with this clinic. They do good work but access is clearly an issue. I have good health insurance and I’m going to need to go elsewhere because even speaking with my doctor seems impossible.
