I had a fantastic experience at Union Veterinary Clinic today, Monday, 10/7/2024. Over the weekend, my dog had a minor nail injury that wasn’t healing as expected. I called the clinic first thing in the morning, and despite it being a busy Monday, the email receptionist was incredibly empathetic and arranged to see us within an hour!

When we arrived, the staff was welcoming and efficient. We were checked in quickly, and shortly after, Dr. Slotje came in to examine my dog. She was amazing—gentle, patient, and had an immediate connection with my dog. He’s never nervous with strangers, and he warmed up to her instantly. Always great service. Both Dr. Yim and Dr. Slottje are gentle and sweet with our nervous little dog, and happy to answer our questions. Each of the techs, assistants, and staff are always kind and thoughtful. The office is clean and welcoming.

There’s no parking lot so give yourself time to find street parking.

The staff is great. They handle your pet with tender care and consideration. I never feel rushed; the staff always takes time to explain options and answer your questions. It's great to have a veterinarian that doesn't suggest unnecessary tests, x-rays, etc. I've experienced some clinics that have suggested $900 worth or tests/treatment on a dying dog that wouldn't even provide pain relief. I will be sticking with Union as long as I have a pet.
