Star Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Review
Turning 96 in June 2024, I have had excellent health but experienced a number of minor injuries conducive to using physical therapy. So I had had previous experience with this kind of treatment. The time I spent at Star was the best.
To begin with, the facility is pleasant, with large windows, and very well laid out so that three or four therapists can work freely with patients with different levels of need. Sports Therapy and Rehab is well located and very accessible by public transport. Samuel welcomed me, gracefully, and was very helpful in getting the Orthopedic office to forward the referral. Aysha was on time and knowledgeable and her pressure points were right on target. It was my initial visit and I was pleased with my choice of venue.
I recently had a reoccurrence of an old Achilles tendon injury that left me hobbling. In addition, at the same time, my wife was recovering from a full left knee replacement which would require extensive PT, once she had sufficiently healed to begin PT. Star arranged to schedule our PT sessions at basically the same time, which was a great convenience.Our experience with the staff physical therapists was outstanding. I was principally assigned to Kyra ("Kiki") who was extremely professional and knowledgable and gradually increased the difficulty of the exercises which has advanced my ultimate recovery significantly.
