It took me a LONG time to find a good threading/henna spot in DC but this is by far the best.Heads that there’s construction going on right outside BUT THEY ARE STILL OPEN !!!For reference I’ve been going to DuPont threading for about five years. They also have about five locations around the city and all are top notch so check those out as well if you are far from DuPont.Side note - they also have the cutest bags for sale at a reasonable price from the owners daughters brand Gauri. I just bought a bag for $35 and it’s so cute! HIGHLY RECOMMEND“

“After almost two decades of tweezing my own brows, this was my first experience getting my brows done professionally (brow shaping only) so I was a little nervous but Hasti did a fantastic job. She listened to my preferences and the outcome was better than I thought possible. She is very detail oriented, and took her time to do a good precise job. I asked for a full natural shape with clean lines - not too dramatic, not too thin - and just let Hasti do the rest. I only did the brow shaping (no tinting, microblading, etc) which was $170 but was honestly worth every penny, and the pricing was clearly stated on the website in advance. It sounds like the higher prices are due to the pandemic and will possibly go back down once she is able to bring in more brow artists. Booking was a little bumpy - my initial appointment did get cancelled on 12 hours notice but I was able to get rescheduled within the same week. I almost went to another place instead but I'm so glad I stuck with brow bar. Very very happy with the results. If you don't mind paying a little extra for someone who will do a really careful and thoughtful job, then I fully recommend.“
“I’d love to leave 5 stars but I think 4 will do. I got cut during a pedicure and couldn’t even get a discount on my service even without having my toe nails gel polished due to the cut. That was my only problem with this being my 2nd visit. My first visit I was pregnant and kept getting offered champagne as if it weren’t obvious I was pregnant and just a fat woman with a pregnant belly. I’m not sure if I’ll be back. You’re paying good money for the service you’d think there would be some sort of compassion.“
