I've been going in and out for a period over 3 yrs. 2 male physical therapists have been very professional and kind. One female therapist is very rude and abrupt. She corrected everything I asked and said. Her name was mentioned in a previous review. The receptionist is very kind. I feel I still need physical therapy will go somewhere else.

I made appointments for several sessions one or two weeks ago. I had to cancel the first one and I was told that because that was the evaluation session and they slot those differently than regular sessions, I would have to wait until the 15th. I explained that nobody had communicated to me that the first session was for evaluation and could not miss it. the answer to my complaint was "we are all adults". As an adult that rarely needs PT and therefore is not familiar with the process, I found the answer very insulting and offensive.

There was only one good physical therapist there, and she moved to Colorado. Four stars for her, one and two and three stars other PTs. Three stars for the office staff (nice but not the most competent). One for scheduling. The company, Physiotherapy Associates, generally isn't too hot. The company bills for a full hour when the PT only works with each patient for 20 min. Physiotherapy Associates has a strong a corporate administration staring hard at the bottom line. In addition, they have merged with lots of other PT companies in the area (VA, DC, Southern MD), establishing something of a monopoly. This is AFTER "splitting" into various "brands"... read full review
