Troy did an excellent job from start to finish with diagnosing and fixing our AC when it wouldn’t turn on. I was able to reach him immediately with a phone call and he arrived at our home within a couple hours. He thoroughly examined our thermostat wiring and the machinery in our utility closet (and was also ready to climb thirty feet to the AC unit on the roof if needed) to determine that the fault lay with the thermostat itself. He had a new thermostat ready in his truck and installed it within minutes. Troy was excellent. He replied very fast to my service request and came out within 2 days. He then identified the issue with my furnace quickly (water not exiting) and adjusted the hose line. He also re-secured the thermostat on my wall, which was a little loose. Really appreciate his work!
My fairly old R-22 heat pump became inoperative after a storm here in DC. After submitting a request for a quote via Yelp, Troy replied nearly immediately. When I called back, he arrived within an hour, driving directly from another job site. He fixed the issue (one of the fuses was blown) within five minutes, and his overall charge was lower than a similar heat pump repair I needed several years ago. His estimate charge was also less than the others who replied. He also explained what he did, repeating the failed fuse's continuity check in front of me. No attempts at upselling or anything like that. Troy is a nice guy, a very smart and professional technician, and I sincerely recommend his services.
