This salon is not for natural hair wearers. I went to this salon for the first time for what was supposed to be a trim. For context, I’m typically a wash & go girl, but get silk presses when I get my hair trimmed because length retention is my primary hair goal right now. The stylist ended up taking several inches off without consulting me. She just started cutting from the back and I couldn’t see how much she took off after the first cut. My hair looked fine when I left the salon, but after my first wash at home, I saw that my hair is lopsided. One side is NOTICEABLY shorter than the other.

The salon is beautiful and the salon has strong service/customer service skills. Employees were kind and checked in often on clients. I was disappointed by the hair aspect of my experience. For context, I am natural and almost exclusively wear my hair curly. To start off, I was surprised the stylist I booked with didn’t do my color. The application, and bulk of the work, was done by someone else. I think this approach did contribute to a final product different from what I asked for (both in my consultation prior and during the appointment itself). 1. Mrs. Diane is so knowledgeable about hair and your specific hair type
2. The shop is beautiful and clean
3. The staff is amazing
I was telling one of my friends, everyone who came in the shop has long hair! I cannot wait to return :) I definitely enjoyed my service—loved my blowout, and I cannot wait to reach my hair goals!
