The staff at Bluemercury Cathedral Commons are truly wonderful—always so welcoming and gracious to me and my high-energy, makeup-enthusiast toddler. We visit often, and it feels so special to share our love of skincare and makeup in such a warm environment. Thank you, Daniel and team, for making both me and my daughter feel so loved and valued every time we walk through the door. We are so grateful! 💙

Okay I truly do not know where the bad reviews of this place are coming from. Maybe their staff used to be different? All I know is, I've been having a lot of skin difficulties and was looking for a new regiment. After reading the bad reviews, I was prepared to go in and know what I was looking for but that didnt end up being necessary at all. As soon as I walked in, Dawn (one of the salsewomen) came over to help me out. We got to talking and we had a lot of the same views on skincare. She helped me find what I needed and showed me some of her faves, but never tried to "sell" me anything. I said I was looking for mid range price and she found me the best and the cheapest. That's the other thing- I was expecting this place to be super expensive. And while they do have some luxury brands, they also have a lot of great cheaper brands that are just a good notch above drugstore products. Everyone was super sweet and the store was beautiful. I also got a little tote bag of samples with my purchase which I've been thoroughly enjoying.

I like this BlueMercury the best out of the 3 I've been to in the DMV area. An employee was so helpful walking me through several of the natural products, and when I had questions about La Mer she was happy to help there, too. I wandered around the store for a while and ended up purchasing more than I walked in for thanks to her wonderful suggestions! When I asked about eye masks at the checkout, they gave me free samples to try. They even called me when their 20% off event was happening!
