While I was new to the Flexit class, the teacher Jazzalyn helped me move my not-so-flexible body through the routines with expert guidance and a real sense of caring. She gave me options for poses I found difficult.

I'm usually a Bikram Yoga Works Riverdale guy, but I love the vibe and classes at Ivy City too. What's nice is that whichever studio you go to, it feels like the same community.

I really appreciated Johnny’s attention to studio decorum. Reminding students about things like not leaving the room during balancing poses, no chit chat in the studio, things like that. It’s hard to find a place in DC that adheres to these traditions. I loved that. His technical instruction was also outstanding and he called out students by name in a motivating but supportive manner. All around great teacher. The studio is also super clean and well maintained. This is the real deal if you want to do traditional hot yoga and still have access to a variety of yoga styles and fitness classes
