Booked an appointment and the stylist was over an hour late. She did a great job on my hair and was very knowledgeable about products and supporting my goal of health and length retention so I decided to return for another appointment despite the lack of punctuality (I was also convinced by the overly emphatic apologies and the assurance that she has never done this before). This time, I arrived 5 minutes early and as 15 minutes pass, I send her a text patiently waiting for her arrival. Another 7 minutes go by and she tells her colleagues to ask me to call her and says she thought she sent a different time. IWhen I lived in Washington DC I went to Bare Necessities for over 18 years.....I cannot say enough about the place OR the owner, Nancy Arroyo. I never had a bad experience, on the contrary, many a day I would go in after having a VERY stressful day, and no matter what, was greeted with a smile, a professional service, and left happy. I now live in New Jersey and to this day, have YET to find anyone as good as Nancy.....she is sorely missed. Do not walk, RUN to this place....you won't be sorry.
