Ridiculous prices - was told that $75 for an acrylic fill with gel is "normal prices for this area" which is false. I've lived in the D.C. area for 8 years and have never paid close to that. Paid the charge but never will be back. The man doing my nails also repeatedly hurt me with the nail tools after I was visibly in pain. He said nothing either. Update: My nails also chipped within a week of getting my gel done. Also the shape I realized was super lopsided!

Popped in here after barre class to get a much needed manicure dip, they accommodated me but I think there might only be one guy that does the dips and not only was he not friendly, but he repeatedly hurt me with his tools and the result is far from good. Very disappointing.

I have been coming here for two years and don’t agree with all the negative reviews. Many seem to focus on price but they are transparent up front about price. I am willing to pay a bit more for it being spacious and relaxing. I never feel they are rushing through and you get a really long good massage with a pedicure. Also it doesn’t have that toxic smell from a place that does a lot of acrylics. I prefer no polish on my hands and they do a very good job of a natural buff which some salons balk at. Plenty of other places I could go but prefer Allure.
