Karen the owner welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. During my facial she explained what she was doing. She gave me a skin analysis where in the past most spas cared not to tell me what areas I had problems with my skin. They just forced products on me. Karen on the other informed me the proper way to clean and care for my skin type. I instantly saw results after my session. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend anyone going to her spa. She also gives it to you straight - if you don't need a more expensive service, she won't try to up-sell you. She has a great rapport with all her clients, and I always look forward to my hair appointments. That is very unlike me - I've always waited MONTHS between appointments, which leads to my hair (especially the ends) looking unhealthy - but now I look forward to seeing her every 8-10 weeks. They also offer waxing services, which, after a bad experience at a nail salon in the area, I will definitely be upgrading to JH Hair Design!
