However, my experience over the last two years has been particularly remarkable. Last year, after a complicated surgery, I developed a frozen shoulder that caused excruciating pain, especially at night, making it impossible for me to sleep. “I just visited Oateney for the second time for a Brazilian wax, and she is, by far, one of the most professional, efficient aestheticians I have ever visited. She was done in 20 minutes! Her technique with the hard wax achieves a nearly-painless experience, while also making me feel at ease. I have been getting Brazilian waxes since I was 15, so I'll usually just pick up a coupon or Groupon when they're offered by well-reviewed, respectable businesses (in lieu of doing it myself.) In the past 19 years of doing this, I have had some hellish experiences! (Places with just a folded partition in the corner to block naked bodies from a busy salon, another woman in New Haven who waxed BETWEEN my lips multiple times, one lady wore kitchen rubber gloves, which stick to skin ‍). He used to be really scared of getting a haircut and would only allow scissors to be used, but over time going here, he’s no longer afraid and is able to tolerate the clippers.“
