Do NOT trust this practice with your animal’s life. My dog is in a hospital dying right now from Leptospirosis. We found out there is a vaccine we were NEVER offered by this practice. My dog would be alive right now had they told me about it. When I called to discuss it, they said well “He’s an old guy.” Leptospirosis is also zoonotic, meaning it can be transferred from animals to humans. Why on earth would you not tell people about that? This is an antiquated practice that has not kept up with advancements in the veterinary field- that ignorance and hubris of “I know everything”, killed my dog today. My dog is 12, his breed can live until they are 16. He deserved the chance to live and would have had I gone somewhere else. Also, Carley, the assistant who answers the phone, is a prime example of how to train someone if you want to lose clients. Absolutely awful bedside manner and I should have taken that hint. No doctor worth his salt would have someone like that working at the front desk if he had a successful enough practice to hire someone capable.
