Westport School of Music

Westport School of Music in Westport, CT, was founded in 1938 and is a member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. Its mission is to provide quality music instruction for people of all ages regardless of ability, ethnic origin, or income. WSM is one of the oldest continuing nonprofit music schools in Connecticut. With a faculty from some of the most prestigious conservatories and university music schools in the country, WSM is committed to providing student-centered learning for children, adults and students with special needs. WSM offers weekly private lessons and several annual performance opportunities. Beginning 10/2020, WSM will be located in a beautifully-renovated building which is also the home of MoCA Westport.
