Tree Service near West Hartford

“I don’t normally write reviews, but this is an exception. Recently, I had a tree fall on a clients house of mine on a Friday night. The tree was enormous (approximately 100 feet) and had settled on the house. There were concerns that the tree could shift and possibly cause more damage. I reached out to Luna Tree Care. They were out in under an hour, gave me a quote and said they’d be ready to go first thing in the morning. It was a huge job that took the largest crane I have ever seen to cut and remove the tree from the house and yard. By Saturday afternoon, the tree was removed from the house, and by Sunday afternoon all debris had been cleared. All that was remaining were the massive logs from the trunk and they were cleared out first thing Monday morning. I can’t thank Liz, Eduardo and the whole crew at Luna Tree Care enough for their help removing the tree as quickly as they did which limited any further damage to the house. On a sidenote, it was a weekend of sweltering heat that their crew had to deal with. I have since had them over to my house to evaluate and trim trees, and I would highly recommend that you do as well.“

“Absolutely, hire this dynamic duo (Al and Jessica) if you need tree removal or care. This review speaks primarily to full, partial and pruning of three trees in our yard. To watch this professional husband and wife team choreograph their work was like watching professional ice skaters. Though the analogy may seem odd, Al and Jessica are a team using precision, communication and safety to complete their work. I was thoroughly impressed.

Pros: safety first and foremost, assurance, intelligence, pleasant, trustworthy, cleanliness, hard-working.
Cons: the wait time. It may be two or three months before they can get to your job (they'll provide an estimate) but ultimately, weather becomes the biggest factor in delays. Definitely worth the wait.

Personally, because I was so taken by the great job they did (08/14/24) on our hickory trees — removing an 85 foot (+/-) tree which was too close to the house and had dead branches; taking an equally tall (and dying) tree and cutting it to half-size allowing us to keep the trunk for woodpeckers and squirrels and pruning a large branch that was hanging over the road — I would never consider calling anyone else for future service for the remainder of our trees.

There are plenty of places out there that will cut trees but not necessarily correctly or with true care. Al and Jessica bring experience, knowledge, care and peace of mind to their customers. As I said, a dynamic duo.“
