I've been a client of Angela's for many years. She is incredibly warm and friendly, and always does a great job with my cuts. Recently Angela did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and she did an incredible job making sure I looked and felt my absolute best. My makeup accentuated my best features, and my hair stayed perfectly in place all day despite the heat and humidity.Services: Makeup services

If I could, I would give this hair salon a million stars. I can't even begin to sum this salon in one review, but here's the highlights: The owner has done my hair since I was born, and my mother came here pregnant with me. I'm 30 years old and she's hosted my birthday party in 2nd grade, styled my hair for prom, and suffered through every crazy dye job I've ever wanted. In my teens, she would take the wild pictures I brought her and even though no one else in this small town would want rainbow highlights or pink-and-blonde split, she would painstakingly create original creations for me, hand-painting colors and foils on my hair. Even today, there's nowhere else I'd trust for my hair. I have been there on early mornings when the elderly ladies come in and she gently perms and sets their thin hair on rollers. I have seen her patiently cut little boys' hair into perfect trims. I'm on a first-name basis with everyone in the salon. When I have been sick, and can't shower, she's offered to wash my hair my free. She told me today that if a breast cancer survivor wants a pink streak for the cause, it's no charge. I can't recommend enough this amazing place. It feels like neighborhood, and sisterhood, and home. She takes cash and checks only, no credit card machine. She isn't available on Wednesdays, but you can leave a message and she'll call you back. She'll always recommend products from her favorites stash - which she's tested to perfection. Everyone is so friendly here, no matter if it's your first time or your thousandth. Tell her I sent you - she'll know just who you mean.
