My wife and I are currently students at GMA in the Jiu Jitsu program, and we are both happy to recommend GMA to everyone in the area who is serious about self defense. The curriculum is absolutely the best, Helio Gracie-developed Jiu Jitsu, and not sport-oriented BJJ, which is extremely important from the self-defense perspective. Everyone from the blue belts to the black belts is a wealth of information. All of the students and instructors are invested in you getting better, and the support for everyone, no matter where they are on their martial arts journey, is impressive.

As we all know education starts at home and GMA feels like it, they definitely complement the discipline and character we teach our kids at home, on today’s broken society we need mentors like Kioshi Olinda and Kioshi Jason who provide inspiration, dedication and confidence to our next leaders.

I really enjoy taking jiu jitsu classes at GMA. In addition to learning self-defense, I am developing confidence and discipline. Studying jiu jitsu maintains my mental acuity and physical fitness. Most of all, the instructors and the students are friendly and helpful, which makes this a great place to learn.
