Will not talk to a patient on the phone about a concern, refuses to come to the phone For any kind of callbackAnd charged me for aProcedure I told him I did not want .Does not listen to patientsneeds to retire!!!!

After struggling to find an optometrist who took my insurance, I finally called this place even though it was 45 minutes away from my house and asked. The lady on the phone took my information and said she would run it and call me back, 20 minutes later she called me back and said yes they do take my insurance and we set up an appointment for contacts. After I was done, I was told that my contacts would take 2 to 3 weeks but I would get a call when they were in. Over a month later I still hadn't heard anything so I decided to give them a call, the lady on the phone said that they came in after two weeks and they must've forgotten to call me. My next day off I take the drive down, she asks for my health insurance as a back up in case we ordered too many contacts. That should've been my red flag. Two months later I got the bill in, they never charged my eye insurance only my health insurance which covered less than $.25. When I called to ask them why they didn't, The receptionist who answered said that that's how they work if they don't take your eye insurance then they take your health insurance. After much arguing I just gave up, because clearly that was general practice for them. I had to pay over $120 out of pocket, and I will never be returning again.
