I brought my daughter's dog on New Years Eve to Mattatuck Animal Vet. We were greeted with a compassionate staff. The veterinarian was very through with my daughter's dog. I highly recommend the dr and expertise.

****IMPORTANT TO KNOW****
While this animal hospital will do all they can to help your pet, they are no longer able to provide pet euthanasia. (New regulations on opioids, that's all I know)
Other than that, my experiences there have always been very good. People are kind, prices are very fair.

I brought my 15 yr old kitty to have her checked out. I thought she might be having a dental issue. It turned out to be a tumor under her tongue. The vet was very kind, explaining that this type of tumor is very common and also very aggressive. I won't have her suffer. All the staff there are friendly, knowledgeable, empathetic and truly are there because they love animals. Not to mention you can’t beat the prices!
Which means I am able to provide the care needed for my animals!
Yes, The hours of operation are not the norm
9-5, however, they will work with you to get the care needed and are willing to assist in any way they can!
The facility itself reminds me of visiting older relatives not flashy but it’s home.
The people inside are family and it shows via the wonderful care given to your animals!
