We had a waterline burst in an upstairs bathroom that left significant damage to not only the upper level of our home, but the kitchen and family room on the main level, then down to our finished basement. Our insurance company suggested we contact Total Water Restoration to put our home back together. I am so glad they did. I contacted Total Water and received a call back from Anthony within minutes. An appointment was set up for few days later with Joey DiNoia and Frank. They assessed the situation and immediately put together a game plan and timeline for the project. Their professionalism and concern for our situation put a lot of our anxiety to rest.
Once work began, Joey had many constructive suggestions on how to improve our home upon rebuild. He even supplied engineered and conceptual drawings for our kitchen so we knew exactly what we were getting. The process was further made easier with suggestions where to shop for tile, flooring, countertops and other building materials.
Frank was onsite from start to finish and did a tremendous job! Not only was his work exceptional , but he and Joey did a great job from a communication standpoint, keeping us updated throughout the project.
A flooded home quite a stressful event, kudos to Total Water for making the process go smoothly, great communication along the way, and giving us the feeling that we are moving into a new home.

Ive been wearing extensions for 20+ years; with the last 13 year being consistent with some type of extension in always. I’ve not taken a break and if you see my before photo you’ll understand why. My hair has always been my biggest insecurity. It’s always been thin and fine, adding in some health issues, it makes my hair even worse. I’ve also had almost every type of extension; keratin, tape and hand tied to name a few. I recently went to Kate for the IBE method and to say I’m impressed is an understatement. These are easily the best extensions I’ve ever had. Her dedication to her education on the perfect install technique is so apparent in how amazing these feel and look. I’m finally able to wear my hair up, something I’ve never been able to do with any other extension because of how fine my hair is, you could always see the extensions with my hair up and that’s a big pet peeve of mine but now I can finally wear my hair up!!! They have been extremely comfortable from the first day. No pulling or tugging or that feeling of being too tight. Extensions are a luxury service, they take dedication on our part to take care of them but I’ve never had extensions like this before. It’s definitely an investment but to me, it’s worth every penny!!!! I would absolutely recommend Kate and can’t thank her enough for giving me such beautiful hair!!!!!

I visited Ocean Salon where the environment was clean and calm. Although my gel nails chipped after three days, my toes still look good after a week. I opted for a basic pedicure, but the technician seemed a bit tired and didn't thoroughly scrub the bottom of my feet or provide a good massage. However, overall it was a good experience and the prices were affordable. I paid $82.99 for a gel manicure and gel pedicure.

My best friend and I went to Noam for a pair of tattoos (I got a butterfly and he got a moth) and I absolutely adore this studio. The vibes are so calming and inviting, I felt so at ease. I had other personal stuff going on in my head but Noam was so patient and kind. They are such a talented artist. I still can't believe this is like 4 colors. This picture is about a month out from getting it done and it's still so detailed. So many people are floored by it but most importantly me. I cant say enough good about sheehy plumbing....I had a serious problem with my toilet where the bolts were snapped off that hold the toilet to the floor and the whole toilet moved....called and within hours Larry was out after he did a service call he was on ....he did the job in less then an hour... the big thing I can say about Sheehy plumbing that puts them ON TOP of the rest of ALL the plumbers in CT ....IS....they answer their phone when you call and you don't get an answering machine or just a no call.....and they return calls....when you call after hours..and have to use an answering machine...they even have an emergency number and Mike the owner picks up right away....I've called other plumbers and NONE answered me back...even when I called the plumber that originally put my toilet in.....he said he was to busy....nice huh...won't be doing business with that MIDDLEFIELD plumber again OH...and the price was very reasonable....no complaints....Larry is the service guy...ask for him....hes been in the business for years and knowledgeable ......Mike is the owner and very respectable guy.....Thank you Sheehy Plumbing

Joe Caires was great. He came out and fix my mother's toilet with a minimal charge. There was an issue with another toilet and he came out the next morning, did a minor adjustment and did not charge me. He is my first go to plumber to call the next time my mother has an issue

We are currently in a heatwave and our central air decided to stop working. Chris was highly recommended and now I know why. He was able to squeeze us in the same day for a quote as we were told last year from a different company that we needed a new unit (so we assumed this one was dead). Chris came and offered to take a peek to see if it was something that was fixable. He was able to fix it and get it working same day and even said this unit might last us a few more years. He saved us thousands of dollars today and very easily could have told us it was broken and I wouldn’t have known any better. I cannot speak anymore highly for Chris and his company-honest, reliable and top notch customer service. When our unit does eventually die (hopefully not for a little bit) we will 1000% be going to R&M for a new unit.

We needed a fan/light combo removed and a new light installed in our bedroom. The woman on the phone went above and beyond in terms of scheduling. She found there was a technician in the area, called us back, said he'd be over in a half hour, and he was right on time. He took care of the old wiring (the previous owners really messed this place up), installed a new switch, didn't make a mess, was friendly and helpful, and he was gone within an hour. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg! A friend had recommended Lucibello and we're glad they did. Definitely will be calling them the next time we need electrical work.

Our floors were “well loved” tiger maple, the guys did a fantastic job, no repairs of damaged wood needed. They protected the rest of the house from dust, worked full days, and brought our floors back to brand new.

HRD did a wonderful job on my project. New Trim (baseboard and crown moulding), new doors, paint and new carpeting. The craftsmen were professional, courteous, clean and meticulous! They double and triple checked their work and cleaned up every day before they left. HRD was awesome to work with for the entire project. I'm having them come back to do 3 more rooms once I get settled into the ones they just did. Can't say more about how good they are! Very good communicators also!!!

TRP did a complete kitchen renovation for us and the challenges they faced were substantial. We have an older house with uneven ceilings, our floors needed to be redone, our island was a solid 10 feet long, and our family decided to stay in the house during construction. If that wasn't enough, we were also needing to install bookcases in the adjoining living room, fix a leaky shower on the second floor that had put a giant stain in the living room ceiling, and then add shoe molding to the entire first floor, on account of some poor planning from a prior general contractor.We agreed on a start and end date, and Tom and his team (and he has a wonderful, experienced team) delivered on the completion before the end date. All told, our kitchen reno and related work in the dining room took 11 weeks. Tom was at our worksite nearly everyday, even on the weekends, checking in on details big and small, and he always put "the right people, in the right place, at the right time," as he is fond of saying.This was an education for us in what a full service contractor business looks like when it has a mature operations structure, with stellar office staff and stellar craftsmen. In addition, we just really liked Tom's demeanor, communication style, and evident care for our house and family.Our project was a big investment, and we could not be happier that we put our trust in Tom.

I just want to take a moment to give credit where credit is due. These guys have one of the hardest jobs anyone could even imagine. When one thinks about needing a contractor after you’ve experienced a fire to your home, it seems like an easy task to find one… well your wrong. The specifics around navigating through your insurance, trying to deal with a mortgage company, limited time in a rental, or just dealing with the over all loss in general its very very overwhelming. I met the ConnReno team the night we had a fire to our home. I’ll be honest… anyone running out to meet you on the street the night of a fire doesn’t sit well, but after deciding to work with them because I just wanted needed someone to board up my home, was the best decision I ever did! After that night, the following morning I was called to a meeting at their office . Rebecca was her hygienist and she just loved her. The place is beautiful and so clean, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dad and I are thinking of visiting this place for ourselves.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Bennett and her staff. In the short time I have been a patient, I have nearly eliminated the use of all OTC medications, as well as been able to reduce my insulin consumption by 50%. Not only is Dr. Bennett skilled and caring, but her entire staff is as well. Being in the office with its welcoming and calming atmosphere, makes me want to focus on my health when I leave the office. I have found myself making better decisions on my health and my self-care as a result of being a patient of Dr. Bennett.
After going through several different physical therapists, Dr. John seems to be the only one who actually knows what he is doing. I've gone only a couple of times, but what a difference compared to Hartford Healthcare, or even Gaylord Physical Therapy. He's used techniques that they hadn't even suggested or tried. I am so grateful to have found him! I'm well on my way to achieving complete relief! So don't give up if you're having aches and pains. This doctor is truly a miracle worker!

I’m new to the area so finding a veterinarian for my cat was difficult. Yalesville Did great with my cat which is a big deal because my cat only knows me so she’s Not friendly at all. Yalesville had me give my cat gabapentin the night before and again 2 hours before her appointment to calm her down. This REALLY helped, my cat was way more relaxed and let the veterinarian do everything they needed to do during her checkup including her immunizations.
I'm new to the studio and recently took the candlelight yoga class and combo class. I absolutely loved the candlelight yoga as Kellie created a very calm, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in the studio for our practice. I equally enjoyed the Combo class where Kellie incorporates barre, pilates and yoga. Kellie is an amazing instructor and such a kind and wonderful person!! Her studio is very charming, I just love the mural of the trees covering one entire wall. Sitting under the trees with my mat rolled out, I almost feel transported deep into a forest where I can feel their presence watching over me in the most caring and wisest of ways.
One of the most well-deserved online reviews I’ll probably ever write. After suffering from chronic back pain for years, I decided to try a yoga class at Kaia to see if it would help. And within just a few classes, I was hooked. Not only has my back pain decreased significantly, but I’ve found a place where I can truly shift away from the busyness of everyday life and refocus. I have been to many yoga studios back when I lived in NYC and DC, and Kaia surpasses all of them. The instructors are terrific and the community is so kind and welcoming. 10/10 recommended!

As a former massage therapist and client at this practice- I have nothing but good things to say about Kelly and her team- we were all treated like equals, and I only left because my partner took a job out of state, I will say I would have never left TMO if it hadn’t been for a move! Kelly is the best “boss” I’ve ever had, she’s inviting, encouraging, and one of the most professional owners I’ve ever had the pleasure of working under. So please know, when you’re supporting the therapeutic massage office, you’re supporting truly professional massage therapists who have dedicated many years to their craft, are professional, and are treated fairly and supported by the company they work for. I feel it’s important for me to leave this review as a former MT of the practice because you never truly know what’s going on behind the scenes at a company. What you see is what you get at TMO, and better yet, they aren’t a big chain, or franchise! When you buy a massage package from TMO, you’re supporting local practitioners and a small business. Kim is an expert at her chosen craft! I’ve seen many masseuses over the years and she is by far the absolute best I’ve ever seen. She’s thorough, addresses all my concerns and problem areas, and really is amazing at what she does. The absolute best!!
Joe and family take great care of their clients. His expertise is helpful and has helped me get through many of my injuries and aches. I see him once every other month. His treatments are not for those looking for soft massage. It is for straight to the point. Cupping experience has been great as well. The front office is all open and always very pleasant.
Hands down the best massage we've ever had! We did a couples massage. The ladies were very knowledgeable and gave fantastic massages!! Back, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, hands, glutes, legs, and feet, and they even stretch your neck and arms and legs and feet! For two tiny ladies they were very strong lol we were really surprised at how strong they were. Incredible! Very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be going back regularly!! Thank you, we both feel amazing!!!
