Just like when you find a good auto mechanic, you tend to keep it to yourself.
But the word is out on Minuteman Plumbing, They are the best I’ve ever dealt with. Great repairs at a fair price.
Mike had to navigate a dirt floor crawl space under my Summer cottage to find and replace two ruptured copper pipes and used PEX. That stuff won’t rupture. The cottage is not insulated, strictly Summer so pipes must be drained before Winter hits. PEX is a strong flexible pipe that Mike chose to use, and I’m so glad he did.
We had a leak in a pipe leading from an upstairs shower. We mistakenly called another local company from the Farmington Valley area first and $630 dollars later, even though they said it looked fixed, it turns out they did not fix the leak. This other company quoted us thousands to properly fix it, so we called Minutemen. Alex arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He found the leak, took his time to make sure it was the actual problem, repaired it, cleaned up any left over debris from the repair, and from start to finish, it cost 300 dollars. Emergency leak in the wall and somehow squeezed me in. Within the hour problem located and repaired. Tech was professional and thorough with the repair. Bill was more than reasonable in this day and age. Highly recommended!
