Not only did my color and cut look amazing, but she was so knowledgeable about my hair and was so careful with lightening it. She also was extremely nice and relatable.

“Where can I even begin?! Susan is a literal genius. I went to LUXE for my first time today after a Facebook recommendation at her new location in Somers. It’s such a cute spot. You’re 1:1 with Susan who is incredibly personable and there’s never an awkward silence. She educates you about your skin and makes you part of the choices. She sells all the products she uses so that if you really love something, you have the opportunity to bring it home with you!For 35$ I had my brows waxed, and shaped. They were ratchet and long overdue. She taught me how to fill them in with the perfect eye pencil. This all included a hand treatment which was lovely. With the little extra time she had she applied her matte mineral powder to my face which literally took away all my redness and applied mascara and eyeliner for me! I felt SO beautiful when I left there and I was SO happy that I was able to purchase that matte powder to take home.I will never go anywhere else ever again for my brows. The customer service is superior and Susan is great! HIGHLY recommend.I didn’t take a before picture of myself but I attached an unfiltered after photo!Thanks Susan!“

“Today was my first visit and had the pleasure of meeting Cindy. The atmosphere was relaxing and loved the massage chair. Cindy did great job with my manicure and pedicure. “Was pretty satisfied but there are definitely some things that should be addressed. My nails came out good and look pretty from afar but there are several flaws like uneven surfaces because there was not enough attention to detail, the woman kinda rushed through it. It was a simple design, not complicated at all but the fact she didn’t take the time to shape them properly is what messed up the set. There is significant lifting already on almost all of my nails and it’s only been like 2-3 days, I’m afraid they won’t last a full week. It is a very pretty place, and staff is super friendly. I’m only leaving this review to bring it to awareness because this place has so much potential, if those issues are fixed I believe it would be a perfect service. Will give it another try sometime.“

“I want to be sure I am fair on this one. I went to Arlena on recommendation after seeing a gorgeous acrylic set she did on a friend. She did a beautiful pedi for me and more sets of acrylics for my daughter and friend. I had her do a beautiful design mani on my natural nails for my wedding but the polish starting peeling off completely within 8 hours. I was unhappy with her initial reply which was simply that she "could not guarantee how long polish lasts on natural nails." I had to request a refund twice which I believe should have been immediately offered. Arlena did refund me against normal policy and did apologize for the situation she left me in just hours before my wedding. As upset as I was with the situation, and will not personally return to the salon, I do have to say that her art skills and acrylics are fantastic.“
