“Although they were not the lowest quote I received, the others left a lot of open room for overruns and intended to take out the ceiling in the room below. Tim took another approach and intended to have a look from above and let me know if there was structural damage in need of immediate repair and he was true to his quote. This saved me the cost of taking out a plaster ceiling while fixing the leaking issue from above with a beautiful new roof. “I am really grateful for Welch Roofing and for Dave Welch. Not only did the whole team do a stellar job replacing my roof, but Dave helped me with a laundry list of other repairs. He was also patient and kind and treated me, a single mother, with a lot of respect -- something that doesn't always happen with contractors, unfortunately.A foundation replacement gone awry caused severe damage to my house, including damage to the roof. The foundation contractor offered me $6,000 out of repair bills that now total greater than $100,000, telling me that my house was old and needed repairs anyway. That amount seemed inadequate, and I was hesitant to accept the offer, but I was caving to guilt. That's when Dave stopped by after I called for a quote to repair the roof, and he urged me to call insurance. As soon as I called insurance, the foundation contractor stopped cooperating and refused to respond to my insurance company. I was getting nowhere fast. Dave offered to help with the insurance aspects of the job, as well as the roof, and he got to work right away after we signed the contract.Needless to say, I am so glad I hired him and Welch Roofing and their partner, Adam Quenneville. Not only did he help move the insurance claim forward, but his careful attention to detail and knowledge ensured that all of the repairs to the roof, gutters, and windows were covered. We're still working on other damages, but I'm confident that those damages will be covered, too.Additionally, the roofing crew led by Fernando did an excellent job repairing and replacing the roof and skylights, and Joe and his assistant did a great job replacing the gutters and downspouts. The crews worked diligently and kept the site clean. They were also respectful and kind and very understanding of our hyper dog. I couldn't have asked for better people to help make our house whole again and for bringing a happy ending to our nightmare.“

“When I called they came out with in days to inspect my roof and provide me a quote. They followed up after the verbal quote with the formal email quote. Glen and his son Anthony were wonderful to work with. I quoted other companies and chose them. They were on time and completed my roof on the house and garage with in 2days. The whole crew was really nice. They even left the magnet for a few days so i could ensure all nails were picked up. Given the complexity and repairs needed for the flat roof, the work they did was excellent and quick. “I first met James with Valor Construction when his guys installed a cement slab for a 24' swim spa. After the cement slab was done James and the guys built a deck around the 5' tall swim spa. They built a beautiful deck and went the extra mile to close up the end with matching material. They hand made each piece of wood in the trellis covering the spa. It turned out to be so beautiful! Everyone stares at it and compliments me when they go by on the trail behind my house. Makes me so happy! Next, James and the guys started on my landscaping. They brought in river rock to cover the open spots and then they made little paths to walk on with the extra rock I had lying around. They installed a 10 zone Wi-Fi sprinkler system and 6 zones of fresh sod. The guys planted 4 Cherry trees and they are all still alive almost 6 weeks later unlike the trees another company planted that died within the week. James and the guys tried to fix the trees that the other company planted but it was too late. James and the guys went the extra mile to make sure the details were buttoned up on each job. They are all easy to work with and even helped me with a few jobs that I was doing. They cleaned up som shredded paper that had blow onto the property, they helped me carry the trash to the street and a few other times they took time out of what they were doing to help me with something. James is always available to answer my calls and has been very punctual on all of the projects. When the project was done the guys spent another day and a half installing more drip lines and James personally drove out to install the Wi-Fi on my sprinkler system. James and the guys will always be the first ones I call to do almost any project that comes up! Thank you to James and all his wonderful crew for a BEAUTIFUL YARD!!!“
