“I was looking for a permanent makeup artist near Middlebury and found Pink Artistry PMU on Instagram. I scheduled a free consultation and met Polina in her office in Waterbury. She answered all of my questions about nanoblading and helped me to book the right service. I was able to schedule quickly and returned for nanoblading a few days later. Polina walked me through the entire process, spent extra time measuring my face to get the placement of the eyebrows just perfect, and made sure I was fully satisfied with the placement prior to beginning the nanoblading. She provided an aftercare package and clear instructions, and is available to answer questions via text or phone call. If you are considering permanent makeup, Polina's work is nothing short of extraordinary. She managed to make my eyebrows sisters (rather than distant cousins) and make my face look more symmetrical. “I had been getting my curly hair cut by the same woman since I was a child. She was a family friend, and we all loved her, but she always cut it wrong! My hair would come out looking like a sort of trapezoidal mullet. One day I decided I just couldn't go back to her. I ended up growing out my hair for three years just because I was afraid of getting another bad haircut. Then I found myself a week before my brother's wedding, and my parents were insisting that I make myself presentable. I had no idea where to go. That's when Amanada swooped in to save me like the hero she is. She tamed my wild mane with her shears and a relaxing wash and scalp massage. Then she got to work on styling.At first, I was a little put off by her prices. In my mind, a haircut was just a transaction where you paid $20, sat in a chair for 20 minutes, and then left a few ounces lighter. But Amanda completely changed that for me. She approached my hair like a sculptor studying a block of marble. She finely tuned the contour of my curls, clipping every hair that was out of place all the way up until I walked out her door. She guided me through every step of her process, while explaining lots of details I didn't even know about my own hair and how I could continue to better maintain it. She was committed to perfection, and more importantly, to meeting all of my needs. Thanks to her, I never have to worry about my hair again.“
