“So of course being here for only 4.5 years and having very FEW people that look like me, I would be hesitant to have someone do my brows. But the chic who does my locs (shout out to @cocoalocs) gave me the recommendation so I thought I’d give them a try. First off, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Second, they had some calming music playing but it wasn’t some crazy kind of music that made me feel like ? but just kind of like I could bob my head and my heart rate could slow down at the same time. Then I meet Kelly. Warm smile, but edgy. Cool but cautious. Let me dive in, but I’m careful not to scare you. I’m go as in as you let me. I liked it. Working in psychiatry, I got her and she got me. We kicked it off. She made me feel comfortable, told me what to expect. I told her fears, she calmed them and when she got started, I didn’t even know! If you’re asking yourself whether you should go to Beauty and the Brow and get ANYTHING done, I’m a NOLA girl and we don’t trust NOBODY and I’m telling you DON’T TRUST NOBODY ELSE!! “We hired Honey Hair & Beauty for our wedding in December 2023. They were so great to work with for many reasons. First off, they were extremely understanding when I needed to book my trial 11months in advanced due to moving to another state. Usually salons only allow trials a few months in advance so I was grateful that they understood my circumstances. Jess did the bridal party makeup, and Chelsea the hair. They are both so talented, as well as genuine people. We really had a great time talking to them both during the hours before the wedding! I hired Jess to stay after the ceremony for touchups since I know I get emotional and would ruin my makeup, but she did such a great job that I really didn't need much touch up at all. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night even with hours of dancing! I highly recommend working with them for your future event or wedding!“

“Yesterday was my first time getting my lashes done and I had the best experience! The shop is easy to find, parking was no issue, it’s warm and welcoming and Jenn is SO nice. I was nervous about having things near my eyes (it’s why I don’t even wear contacts) but Jenn has such a gentle hand, that nervousness went away quick. One look in the mirror when finished and I was hooked immediately and I get why this is such a popular service. I feel like a whole new woman, Jenn created a look that suits me perfectly.
