I can't seem to stress how pleased I was with my experience here. 1st of all they took me as a walk in without any appointment on a busy Friday. My wait time was literally a minute and a 1/2 befor Pete had me in a chair asking what I wante. Not only was the hair cut above and beyond what I expected since this was my 1st time cutting it after growing it out, but I honestly felt like I was hanging out with a bunch of friends. We were telling jokes, telling stories and just relaxing. It was honestly overall a great experience but on top of it I was so pleased with my hair cut. It was the day before I had a wedding and these guys came through in the clutch for me. I would never recommend any other barber than the guys here at modern.....and then at the end of it I couldn't believe how cheap it was. I honestly tipped him more than half the bill because they were so reasonably priced. So please, if you're in or near Bridgeport or Stratford Connecticut and you're looking for a hair cut or maybe even a shave or a shape up, this is the place to go. No ifs, ands or buts about it this is the place

Needed a last minute cut and they were very accommodating. Hair cut done by Jose; he did a great job and the conversation did not feel forced. I highly recommend and I will definitely return.

Truck driver in town for one day and walked by and went in to get a cut. Michael was an awesome barber worked with me to get a superb haircut! I was pleasantly impressed by the friendly service and staff. Would recommend highly!!! Thanks Michael
