Colin Healy, David Bussolatta, and David Swanson, presented their program, "Making Your Home Work Work for You in Retirement" at the Bethel Library on Mar. 9, 2023. They were professional, educational, and engaging. Patrons were interested and engaged with the talk, and the question-and-answer period was particularly lively. An excellent presentation.

Working with Colin Healy is a pleasure and a privilege. We asked him to design changes to make our first floor wheelchair accessible, create an accessible first floor bathroom and to renovate our second floor bathroom. His experience and thoroughness in thinking through the changes needed to accomplish our goals have been both impressive and reassuring. He is a fantastic educator and counselor with regard to all building-related matters. After taking his recommendations into account, we pulled out of our initial offer on a house and found one that was a much better fit. Collin involved us in all the planning of our updated kitchen. He quickly emailed plans as we finetuned them with him. He figured out how rotating shelves in the new cabinet corners and large new sliding drawers under the stove would make easy access to cooking pans and bowls, and could fit into our existing space. He took us to see materials we might use and order, knowing just the places to look. We love the new recessed lighting in our ceiling. A larger window not only brings in more light, but highlights our view outside.. He also has an artist’s eye for materials and colors and quickly sensed our taste.
