Very friendly employees, great atmosphere, and they did a great job with my haircut. Will definitely go back again! Reasonably priced too, considering the attention to detail and quick, quality work. Walk-in only which I prefer, and they take cash or Venmo which is super convenient. It’s also a great location - easy to get to, easy to park, and you can grab a snack or bite to eat in the same strip.

A few months ago, we moved to the area and I was overdue for a good haircut. I found American Barbershop ? and met Peggy and Virginia, two great people that both deliver awesome cuts at an affordable prices. American Barbershop is now my go-to spot when I need to look good.

I Haven’t had a professional cut for as long as I can remember (I just do it myself) but with a graduation in less than 24hrs and my hair the longest it’s been in 15yrs I needed some help and Peg at American Barbershop delivered big time! I was able to walk right in without an appointment (I probably lucked out on that) and was seen right away. She listened to what I was looking for and knew exactly what to do. I must confess that my time in CT these past three years have been pretty lonely so the opportunity to converse with her and her colleague Virginia was greatly appreciated and made the experience all that much better.
