Our scary basement is now gorgeous! We highly recommend Alex, Igor, Peter, Nick, Mark (electrician), Gregorie (plumber), and all the others.

Some Details: Alex’s was the only contractor we met with that showed us what the space could possibly look like...a design rendering was above and beyond and it is what sold the job. Also provided a very detailed description of materials/costs, and he went over all the tasks that were needed to ensure moisture wouldn’t be an issue. Price: They were not the least expensive nor the most, they were in between and we felt definitely a fair price. We did add a few things, and in the end the extra cost was still very fair.

Our 1957 home had MANY challenges, and there wasn’t anything that Igor (the project manager) couldn’t do to come up with solutions for each and everyone. Basement remodeling comes with special challenges, and they possess an extreme amount of knowledge in ‘basement’ remodeling, setting them apart from other contractors.

Also not to go unmentioned was the care/details, and that they really wanted to make sure we were happy with everything was unmatched.

What they did: CAD rendering, demolition, treating for mold, sealing floors/walls to protect from moisture, Framing (special metal type to ensure drywall did not touch the cement walls) Drywall (special for basements), Leveling a very uneven floor, and the soup to nuts: trim/painting/flooring etc all. We love our contemporary stairway banister, they used cabling, so sleek and everyone says how cool it is!

Lastly their electrician and plumber had exactly the same work ethic and communication mindset. Thank you Mark and Gregorie!
