A simple form. They had some of our records ready when we were called in. A friendly team of nurses.
They took their time with my husband who has blood phobia issues. They struggled to get a sample, but that's no reflection on them, he's a difficult sucker to get blood from. But it was how they managed him. So kind and comforting.

So, I guess I didn't realize what time it was when we headed over there. We checked in and sat down to await our turns. We were going in there separately because we had different insurances and different requests of their services. I wanted to get primarily tested for pneumonia which apparently they "can't test for" with a swab like covid and the flu. I got brought back there and they took my input info like symptoms and such and took my vitals. I was then brought to a room where I waited for the medical (whatever she called herself) to come in and take my blood pressure and swab me because no matter what... they thought I needed to get tested for covid and the flu. They got us in pretty quickly, which I appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful. However we did have a couple of issues. We were prescribed the wrong dose for our toddler. This mistake was found by the pharmacist who was paying attention, and called the urgent care back. This kind of thing will drive a parent crazy worrying about how much medicine to give their sick little one. On a smaller note, we weren't fans of the TVs in the room. We were bringing in a sick kid and it was hard to communicate with the nurse when CSI was blasting in the background.
