Bringing a loved one home with hospice care is very overwhelming. We decided to get additional 24 hour care. Acuity Homecare came VERY highly recommended. Odell was a pleasure to work with. Very kind and understanding of our needs. The process was easy and we were able to get home care that day. Our home aide, Sharon, was amazing. She had a calm and caring way that made the whole family comfortable. It was a difficult time. Sharon and Acuity Homecare made the time we had left feel so much more comforting.

The decision and necessity to seek home care for a family member may be one of life's most psychologically challenging events. Moreover, it involves vast expense. For people who are working or raising children or both, the anxiety of finding and maintaining care strains all aspects of one's life. In many cases, caregivers are choosing work of last resort; caregiver agencies are often poorly run in spite of marketing photos of the smiling friendly faces of the caregivers and the happy old people, who look ready to frolic into the sunset.
