One of the biggest things I look at when I go to a barbershop is how the barber not only takes his time and pays attention to every little detail to send you home happy, but is very kind and has a conversation with you throughout the entire haircut. Got my hair styled by Alma, as you can see in the before picture my hair is dry, and dull I was looking for a lighter base and to add extensions for length. Let me say, because of continuous black box dye it has been hard to lift my hair to the tone and color I want without the damage. She got it spot on! I have not been more satisfied with the color and retention of my hair after a huge color transformation like this! The hand tied extensions and color were perfectly matched, and blended great! I I could not be happier with my over all experience, retention of my hair and the out come! make sure to ask for Alma!

I love this salon. Ed is always kind and courteous, and Jay leads a skilled team. This is a teaching salon, so you can pay less and get a cut from a junior stylist. At first i was skeptical, as we all know since switching barbers is initially scary. But as soon as I walked in the door i felt extremly welcomed. He is extremly kind and funny, and airs nice shows on his tv while cutting your hair. He remarked how careful he is with fades as one little thing can mess up the entire end result. He is very careful and extremly accurate in cutting your hair as well as exceptionally funny, and i couldnt reccomend anyone else. I will be back.

To be honest I wasn't sure how exactly I wanted my haircut to be - probably something that most barbers don't want to hear - but Esmir was awesome and made recommendations that turned out to be the best haircut I've gotten by far. You can tell he really knows his stuff and really puts in the effort making sure it turns out great. I'm already scheduling my next haircut with him. Highly recommend!!

She was friendly and knowledgeable answering any questions I had. My spray tan and eyebrows were absolutely stunning and I received multiple compliments on both. I got a facial from Kim two weeks before my wedding to help clear up some acne problem areas. She thoroughly looked at my skin before starting and walked through each step. I left with a few products (cleanser, toner, etc) she recommended and they have significantly helped keep my skin clear. I love how Kim sends a text a few days later to check in as well. My skin was so clear for my wedding weekend and made me feel so confident, especially on my wedding day! I also got my eyebrows tinted and waxed by her; they came out looking so natural and clean! I couldn’t recommend Kim more! I even convinced my husband to get a facial from Kim as well and he was a big fan. We will both be returning for sure.

Late 2019 the boiler at out Church had a catastrophic failure just as the winter cold began. First Choice Home Services, Al, stepped up to the plate to help. He found a boiler replacement but delivery was a problem because of Covid. There were delivery issues and Al was willing to travel to get the parts if needed. He quickly arranged to install the boiler and get everything working. Also, he provided some temporary heat to the building to try and keep the building somewhat warm. The basement was old, damp and dark. Al and his team made everything come together timely. He is also someone who returns your call promptly. His workmanship is the highest quality and he is highly recommended. Absolutely, hire this dynamic duo (Al and Jessica) if you need tree removal or care. This review speaks primarily to full, partial and pruning of three trees in our yard. To watch this professional husband and wife team choreograph their work was like watching professional ice skaters. Though the analogy may seem odd, Al and Jessica are a team using precision, communication and safety to complete their work. I was thoroughly impressed.
Pros: safety first and foremost, assurance, intelligence, pleasant, trustworthy, cleanliness, hard-working.
Cons: the wait time. It may be two or three months before they can get to your job (they'll provide an estimate) but ultimately, weather becomes the biggest factor in delays. Definitely worth the wait.
Personally, because I was so taken by the great job they did (08/14/24) on our hickory trees — removing an 85 foot (+/-) tree which was too close to the house and had dead branches; taking an equally tall (and dying) tree and cutting it to half-size allowing us to keep the trunk for woodpeckers and squirrels and pruning a large branch that was hanging over the road — I would never consider calling anyone else for future service for the remainder of our trees.
There are plenty of places out there that will cut trees but not necessarily correctly or with true care. Al and Jessica bring experience, knowledge, care and peace of mind to their customers. As I said, a dynamic duo.

The entire Eckert Chiropractic team is amazing. Each and every one of them is extremely kind and takes the time to listen and help however needed. I have been seeing Dr Eckert since 2010 and have never been disappointed. I started seeing him because I had a lot of neck pain from my years of gymnastics. I learned that I had a reverse curve in my neck that was causing the pain and intermittent numbness in my left shoulder. I also had sciatica. I am happy to say that between adjustments and treatment from Dr Eckert and massages from Bob (who is also amazing and one of the nicest people I know) both issues have been fixed and now I just see them for maintenance.

The in-car lessons are a MUST! My instructor was extremely patient with me even when I made mistakes, and it helped me pick up the steps really fast! I remember thinking I was going to be a terrible driver because I couldn't remember all of the material I was given in my online lessons. However, after meeting with my instructor a few times I feel a lot more confident with my driving skills. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO THE NEXT STREET LOCATION AT ROCKY HILL!
