I'm 60-something and new to Putnam area, looking for a salon to get a 2nd ever pedicure. (Mostly needed my toenails trimmed ... bum hip keeps me from doing it myself!!) Was very pleased w McNails ... clean facility, w pleasant, friendly, and talented staff. And reasonably priced ... I'll be back.

I am very happy with the way my manicure and pedicure came out. I was there for almost 2 hours, with complete attention from one person. This was amazing because most times I feel like they rush you out to get the next person in. I recommend going in the morning or mid day if you would like their full attention. I paid $50 for tips and gel, which seems reasonable to me. And $35 for a regular pedicure with regular polish. The nail industry has gotten pricy over the last few years especially, but I feel like for the service that was provided, this was a fair price. Not sure why all the reviews are so poor but when you look at them- they are literally all from 4+ years ago! This place is always pretty quiet & I rarely see any cars parked in the lot. The first nail place I started going to when I moved up here- is wonderful but a lot further away then this one. This nail salon is much closer to where I live and therefore a lot more convenient for me to go to- so I decided to walk in on a whim on Valentine's Day after work. They immediately asked me to pick a color & and took me right away for my pedicure. I decided on the middle pedicure- at $46 which included hot stones, a massage, and paraffin wax.
