Alan came out to my house to do a repair on a chair that had a broken arm and a coffee table that my puppy had gnawed on. I loved the convenience of having him do the work in my home and me not having to transport heavy furniture pieces. He is meticulous and a true artist. He was able to perform the repairs and match the wood colors and grains perfectly. Once Alan had completed the work, you would never know that these pieces had been damaged. I would highly recommend Alan for all of your furniture repair needs.
I wasn’t sure if Alan was the right person to repair my sofa after seeing the meticulous work that he has performed on the fine furniture of others. The Connecticut painter Eric Sloan made reference to the term “A Reverence for Wood” when referring to furniture craftsmen. That is Alan.I feel fortunate that he was also willing to fix the broken frame on my sofa. He arrived promptly. He took particular care to use drop cloths to protect my carpeting and floor.
