Just as others have mentioned here- Awful contractor. Only interested in talking a big game and installing systems. Has zero interest in maintenance, and more importantly fixing issues as they arise in regards to systems he places. We had major HVAC work in our home (involving moving to an attic) and have bought ourselves a system that sweats water in the attic with resultant mold. Two years having this system, and two years of problems- now we are remediating mold, using another HVAC company to clean up his mess, and bringing an engineer into the mix to make sure this is truly fixed right. Never once did Tony (owner of company) come to our home to evaluate the system he placed/troubleshoot/offer suggestions as to how to fix- literally never once did he step foot in my home despite two years of issues starting from nearly day one of running his HVAC system. He sent the general contractor to do this dirty work and should not be a surprise that this is not within the wheelhouse of a general contractor. Tony Silverio is a charlatan. Despicable person, awful company, and sad to see others spending enormous sums of money for shoddy work. We are the sort of family that tells contractors to do a 'good job' and we do not nickel and dime them as we do very much care about quality and are willing to pay for it. There are other HVAC/heating companies locally who are much more reputable. My biggest mistake is allowing Tony to work on my house, but I trusted my general contractor which was a mistake. Stay away from this Snake Oil salesman. Edited to add- my location is not San Francisco, California (???). I am located in Essex, Ct

***DO NOT USE THIS INSTALLER*** This contractor did major installs for us in two homes under the watchful eye of a contractor. The first install, 14 years ago, went fine. The second install, an even more massive project, went well. BUT, follow-up or warrantee service of any kind? Forget it. He doesn't answer calls. His staff passes messages along and there is NO FOLLOW-UP. NO EMERGENCY/WEEKEND SERVICE. This I discovered on a Thanksgiving morning when, with water all over the basement floor, I called (and emailed, and texted) and never heard back. Same thing when my heat pump seized up during an ice storm on a recent Sunday. He doesn't even follow-up the next week when he's back in his shop. Don't use him unless all you care about is the install - not the warrantee service or beyond - because you'll never hear from him or get proper service unless a contractor is threatening him. You'd think I would have moved on earlier, and I have begun assembling another team, but today finally did me in. An basement boiler expansion tank exploded with water all over the tank and boiler - he installed it only a few years ago so I brought picture to him to see and said I'd need sooner than later service, which is usually a matter of phoning 25 or more times to get on his schedule. He said to go elsewhere... so here I am, finally putting truth to paper. After all this time, and a fair shot of loyalty to him over some pretty trying years, it feels good to move on but also to be able to say with all honesty, DO NOT USE THIS INSTALLER. DIVA PLUMBER. ZERO SERVICE.

Silverio Mechanical is unreliable. Despite multiple daily calls to the company's office from April 14 - 21 and leaving a message on the emergency line, we received no return call for over a week when our heating system failed. (We had a 14-year relationship with Silverio Mechanical, which included installation of a geothermal heating system, two hot water heaters, various propane lines and re-plumbing multiple baths and a kitchen.) After enlisting help from our general contractor (with whom we had no ongoing relationship) on April 18 and 19, a call was finally returned on April 21 at 2 PM. The Silverio representative who called wanted to know if Tony should come out on April 22. When she was informed that we had arranged for a new HVAC company since we had not heard from the Silverio company for a week and had no heat, she said that there was no one in the office. (This was during the Covid 19 pandemic.) When told that the office answering message said "we will get back to you right away", her response was that she didn't need to "put up with this" and was dealing with an ill mother, trying to run a company, manage short staff and a household etc. During our 14 years with Silverio Mechanical, the geothermal system had many issues. Often more than one call was required to get a response and interactions were abrupt. It had, however, previously been possible to arrange a service call within a day or two and the geothermal issues were generally easily dealt with. As a result of the experience related here, others would be well advised to look elsewhere for HVAC and plumbing work. Silverio provides an unacceptably poor level of customer service. Their response was arrogant and potentially dangerous since we are a couple in our mid 70's and night-time temperatures were at or below freezing.
