The problem we were having was a bit baffling, but Vernon was very methodical as he furrowed through various possibilities until he landed on the most likely issue. We discussed the best way to repair the problems and covered increasing our panel to 200 amp to cover additional electrical needs for an upcoming renovation. We are very pleased with the service we’ve received to date.“

He is not only a business man full of years of experience, but very personable and I was in awe of how he taught his apprentice while he guided me through different areas of my 1840’s house electrical situation. He was knowledgeable in his expertise, but also of the laws and permits that go along with this work. He took time to make sure I understood aspects of my homes electric system. “I had a great experience with Beaver Electric. I got the referral from one of my favorite local businesses in CT. I had a long list of repairs/replacements and the guys showed up right on time and worked straight through the day. When I left the house to run errands at 10am they already had at least 5 tasks completed from the checklist. One of the punch list items was to replace a bathroom fan, I had no idea that the entire time I've had this house that the fan wasn't connected to an exhaust/vent system. All the moisture was literally just blowing into the attic insulation. In addition to the long list they showed up for, they now had to crawl to the attic and build out an exhaust to vent properly to the outside. They were also incredibly sweet and kind to my dogs, which I genuinely appreciated on top of everything else.Services: Light fixture installation“

“Mark was absolutely brilliant! The night before our water got ice cold even though our water heater is only 2 and half years old. I called and left a voice message. Mark called 7:30am and arrived with in 30 minutes, fixed everything with in 30 minutes. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out the breaker portion of the hot water heater was completely fried and burnt out. “East Coast Electrical knocked it out of the park with installing my two NEMA 14-50 outlets, one outdoors and one indoors.I reached out to many electricians a week ago, but did not follow up with any of them as I got caught up in moving into our new home. I reached out to east coast electrical a 11pm once I realized I needed to get back on this project and they were here by 9:30am the next day and got the installation done quickly, in the rain, and for a price that I still can’t believe. I’ve done this installation a few times elsewhere at other properties and I’ve never seen a more fair invoice. “From the moment we called Joe was professional and his pricing was fair and reasonable. We set up a day to move and upgrade our panel box which was totally out of code! They worked all day and got the job completed and we also need some lighting replaced, also ceiling fans added…. Which let us to change out our outlets & switches. “I am selling my house and wanted to replace my expensive chandelier with something else. Basic fixture.............installed them a million times before. Fired it up nothing. House inspection in two days. Did all I could to troubleshoot the problem..no answer. Called Harbor in a panic 4 pm on Monday and they were there at 8:15 am Tues morning. To really nice guys solved the problem...the switch..and they were on their way. Even installed the fixture again which was dangling from the wires from me attempting to solve the problem..“

“Paul absolutely saved my day today. I had made an appointment with a different electrician, which fell thru. I needed an electrician so a tenant could move into an apartment we own, so there was a timing pressure and I was so stressed. It was a Hail Mary, but I made a flurry of calls, and Paul answered. Not only did he answer, but he gave me a realistic window when he'd be able to show up, kept in touch with me and was even able to show up earlier than projected, which was just so great. On this day we only needed to get the system safe to turn on for our new tenant, but the fact is, we know we need quite an overhaul, it's an very old house, and he was able and willing to not only get us up to safety, but had a good and realistic discussion about our future electrical needs. I'm sticking with this guy. Homeownership can be scary. Needing work done in an area that you have no real knowledge of can be scary. Paul took the scary parts away PLUS his rates are extremely reasonable (less,in fact, than our original appointment today). I can't recommend highly enough, and feel such a weight off my mind, knowing he can handle my daunting, ancient electrical system, which, honestly I've had on my list to tackle for a while.“
