“I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into Sarah’s Yin class. Our YTT instructor had given a small synopsis the day before on what we could expect, but really wanted us to experience it without much prior knowledge. All I know was I was bit nervous thinking I was going to have to hold a full on down dog or crow for 7-12 minutes… After leaving my first class with Sarah, I felt euphoric. The release of tension felt in my body was so surprising. During class, I didn’t know if I was “doing it right” because I felt so supported with all the different props we were using. It was apparent to me that it worked because at the end of class during savasana, I just started crying… It was a mixture of muscle tension, emotional and spiritual release all at the same time, and I just could not hold back my tears. It was unlike any other yoga style I had experienced before. I am so grateful to have met Sarah, and to have her be a part of my yoga journey.“
