I love this salon! I moved from the Hartford area a year ago & I was in search of a good hair salon. I had an appointment with Paula and I haven't looked back since. The service is excellent, the stylists hair knowledge & customer care have been just what I've been l for. If you are looking for a professional salon, with stylist who know Black hair please make an appointment. The salon & the services are a whole vibe- you won't regret it.

I’ve searched everywhere for a salon I could trust with my hair and after my first appointment at Hair It Is, I couldn’t stop going back. It makes me feel even better that the sisters are as happy to see me and work with my hair as I’m happy to be there.Whether it is Fern or her sister Paula, and whether I’m in a pinch for a date, an interview or just needing a boost in confidence, I am at Hair It Is. Comfortable, welcoming, nice place to relax and relieve stress as you're there. My hairstyles rents a chair there now and I honestly feel like family when I am there. Consider them for they are professionally humble kind people.
