The teachers are 5th and 4th degree blackbelts – most dojos are lucky to have a 1st or 2nd degree. The classes are small, and the teachers provide a lot of positive and helpful feedback. My teenage daughters took classes here for many years and had a ton of fun. I highly recommend Aikido of Norwalk.

I've been practicing at this dojo for three months and have a background in martial arts, having studied many styles at many schools. This "old school" Aikido Dojo is an absolute gem. The instructors are expert in their art and excellent, devoted teachers who always have a lesson plan prepared. The Dojo is large, well equipped, and well maintained. The classes are small. There is a real camaraderie among students. The schedule is accommodating and there are separate classes for general and weapons training, back to back, for convenience. I recommend this place to anyone, beginner or expert, interested in training in this style.
