Spend extra time explaining how mold spreads/works, and how it needs to be treated.Spent extra time writing out two estimates (one for the work as I requested, and one for the work he recommended). Was very professional and thorough with his explanation of the possible options. He’s been incredibly kind and understanding during multiple reschedulings. Quoted price was a few hundred dollars lower than lowest price from 3 competitors. Will update review after work is performed, but so far really impressed by Red Star Restoration.“

He even supplied engineered and conceptual drawings for our kitchen so we knew exactly what we were getting. I live out of state and needed to work with people who were professional and took ownership of the entire problem.I spoke with Denise and she was very informative and helpful. I drove down and met the crew to let them into the house. The young man running the crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. I left them there feeling pretty good after just a few minutes.Over the next few days I got updates from my mom as they came in a couple of days to check how things were progressing and after about a week they cleared their stuff out and reset the carpet. All was good.The job was 100% turn key, requiring zero involvement. Yes it cost money. But they did what they said they were going to do for about what they estimated it would cost. The job was complete and. professionally done. They even helped my mom put the furniture back in place.I can't recommend them enough.“

I met the ConnReno team the night we had a fire to our home. I’ll be honest… anyone running out to meet you on the street the night of a fire doesn’t sit well, but after deciding to work with them because I just wanted needed someone to board up my home, was the best decision I ever did! After that night, the following morning I was called to a meeting at their office . I showed up reluctantly… after sitting down for 45 mins he had my business, the guy is as honest as they come, and has a heart of gold. He make a few promises which he kept and a few things I wanted he told me flat out where “probably” out of the question, well he delivered on those as well! Picking the right contractor is VERY VERY important and Ive come to realize Fire Restoration is not the same at Home Improvement, if you want things to go smoothly… you need to hire someone who is a Specialist. “They did a great job with a fairly complicated situation. We had water coming down through the basement ceiling and the source was not clear. Thomas traced it to the drain from an upstairs shower and made the fix. But we had water damage and moisture issues from water coming down between the walls, so we needed the water mitigation team to come in and see what needed to be done to make sure we didn’t get mold. Ended up having to take out the wall and ceiling from a downstairs bathroom and then had to do a bunch of drying using industrial strength fans and dehumidifiers. It was a big process, but they were professional and prompt every step of the way. Knowing Tim was in charge and on top of everything helped reduce the stress considerably. He was always ready to go the extra mile to make sure everything got done.“

Kramer began work the day I called and finished the serious water mitigation stripping and drying the room in short order.
