Water Heater Installation Repair near North Haven

“My condo tenant informed me that the hot water heater leaked and died... Rich at DeCola's was recommended by the condo property management company. Rich responded immediately, scheduled for later the same day. When I ended up stuck on the parkway behind a bad accident, Rich was able to contact property management (they know him) to gain access to the basement room in the secured building where all the water heaters are. When I arrived, technician Nick (who has been with the company for 19 years) was there already having removed the old and began installing the new hot water heater. He was polite, efficient, competent, and cleaned up thoroughly. I did verify BBB profile (A+) and plumbing licenses before calling, after having seen a scathing Google review from an apparent troll. I don't leave many reviews, but based on the excellent service I received, it was the right thing to do. I will be having some other work done at my house and will update my review if anything changes.“

“They did a great job with a fairly complicated situation. We had water coming down through the basement ceiling and the source was not clear. Thomas traced it to the drain from an upstairs shower and made the fix. But we had water damage and moisture issues from water coming down between the walls, so we needed the water mitigation team to come in and see what needed to be done to make sure we didn’t get mold. Ended up having to take out the wall and ceiling from a downstairs bathroom and then had to do a bunch of drying using industrial strength fans and dehumidifiers. It was a big process, but they were professional and prompt every step of the way. Knowing Tim was in charge and on top of everything helped reduce the stress considerably. He was always ready to go the extra mile to make sure everything got done.“

“To the whole crew; from the owner Steve, the main office, and to all the guys in the field. I can't thank you all enough. We had our whole central AC system replaced and upgraded. Top to bottom. Duct work and all. In an attic of a raised ranch that had hardly any space to work during a summer that has been unforgivable. We all lucked out and had one week that wasn't upper eighties to mid nineties. It still was absolutely hot and stifling up there. They managed their time extremely well. Working mornings mostly in the attic, and managed to set up a tent outside to fabricate, on site. All of the custom ductwork that was needed to upgrade everything for the new system to breathe properly. They added sealer to the fabricatded ductwork in all the areas that that THEY felt needed it. A move that most other companies wouldn't bother to do. Then used the metal duct tape on top of that to enjoin all of the ductwork together . They double sealed the flexible ducting that was used to join the main fabricated body to all the intake and outgoing vents by adding zip ties that other companies don't bother to use. The handler was also up in the attic. Not an easy task to set up in such a small space. It only took six days of this almost half day schedule to completely finish the job. (We agreed to this mostly morning schedule before even starting the job. Heat exhaustion isn't a good thing) Which included having the electrician come in. That they took responsibility for getting onsite. He came in and installed the proper breakers properly into the panel. Wiring and all. Unlike the previous electrician that many years ago cut corners. He even found several other issues that were a mystery and took care of them. He also installed all of the add-ons that were needed to bring everything up to today's code.
The crew ( without saying anything) even cleared the top of the gutter guard where it met the bottom gutter portion. I noticed a few days later that the rain water wasn't splashing the black mulch water all over the side of the house. That area isn't even near the compressor. Which is on our brick patio. In fact, they cleared the whole back of the house. I could see maybe clearing it right over the compressor to avoid junk falling into the new compressor. Most other companies probably wouldn't have even bothered to do anything at all..They said nothing and took no credit for it. So I am giving credit where credit is due. This has nothing to do with Air conditioning. That's why I'm making a point of it. Going beyond what anyone else would have done.
Finally , all I have is say is thank you Steve, Bernadette and the whole crew for getting the job done in a professional and caring manner. We are feeling the effects of all of your hard work.

“We are currently in a heatwave and our central air decided to stop working. Chris was highly recommended and now I know why. He was able to squeeze us in the same day for a quote as we were told last year from a different company that we needed a new unit (so we assumed this one was dead). Chris came and offered to take a peek to see if it was something that was fixable. He was able to fix it and get it working same day and even said this unit might last us a few more years. He saved us thousands of dollars today and very easily could have told us it was broken and I wouldn’t have known any better. I cannot speak anymore highly for Chris and his company-honest, reliable and top notch customer service.
