“Performance in Hamden is the best place a person can go for physical therapy. The patient care is astounding; I have been to many PT places and none of them even come close to comparing. The staff is amazing, from the receptionists to the aids to the therapists themselves. They have made such an impact in my recovery to the point where my surgeon was surprised. They are extremely knowledgable and intentional with their exercises. They know when to push and when to slow you down. Unlike many of the PT places I have been to in the past, Performance never made me feel stranded or unattended. They listened to my needs and goals and created a plan to get me there. Additionally, they were attentive to pain, making sure I was in as minimal as possible and was never pushing myself to hard. Renee and Matt have been the best physical therapists. They really have made an extremely significant difference in my recovery. The establishment itself is very clean, and there is always parking. If you are looking for a PT place, just go here, you will be happy that you did.“

Once I met with the Chiropractor, I explained in great detail why I was there. He listened to every detail to my long story & he explained everything he would do to adjust me before doing so. “Dr. Steve is amazing! I have nerve impingement issues because of Spinal that PT couldn’t solve. Doc’s couldn’t solve. In several visits I have lost the numbness and have a clear plan on what is wrong and how to proceed to solve my issues without surgery or drugs for pain. Very knowledgeable, always on time. Can’t recommend any higher and I’ve seen several chiropractors over the years.“

“This studio has been around for 20 years for a reason: it's a fantastic place to practice original Bikram yoga.The studio is clean and welcoming. I've been practicing for 12 years, and the yoga speaks for itself. The yoga room here is kept at the perfect temperature/humidity for a challenging yet beginner-friendly practice and classes are led by experienced teachers. I especially loved the class taught by Robin, the studio owner of 18 years. The space is also equipped with private changing areas and showers. I even rehydrated after class with a freshly pressed juice.The studio itself is in the basement of the building, but there are plenty of signs to direct you once you're buzzed in the entrance.I'm so happy this community exists here in New Haven, and I can't wait to come back!“
